Ian Gould

Ian is a Licenced Insolvency Practitioner bringing with him over 30 years of experience advising and dealing with companies on a wide range of insolvency and restructuring matters.

Ian has worked within the Midlands region throughout his career. He started working in insolvency in 1984, where he became partner at Kidsons in the early 90’s then to move on to heading up Pannell Kerr Forster’s (PKF) Birmingham Insolvency in 1997 and subsequently Partner in charge of the Birmingham Office. Although he was later promoted to become the National Head of the Corporate Insolvency and Restructuring Practice, he remained in Birmingham.

As an Insolvency Practioner, he has dealt with cases of all sizes and in many different sectors including, Not for Profit, Automotive and Manufacturing, Construction, Nursing Homes and the Leisure Industry. Notable assignments include, F1 race teams, a Championship football Club, a major Rail Engineer as well as numerous Tier1 and Tier 2 suppliers to the Auto Industry.

In addition to formal assignments Ian regularly assists Directors and Lenders on  Turnarounds and monitoring assignments as well as heading Asset recovery cases.
