You may have thought that only solicitors deal with all the paperwork when someone dies, but since 2014 some accountancy firms have also been licensed to handle probate matters and help people manage estates after a death. There are many services we can offer including dealing with income tax and inheritance tax; ongoing support and individual tax planning; estate accounts; and, helping you to deal with a business or property owed by the person who died.
Why choose the Baldwins Probate Service?
You wouldn’t hire a solicitor to handle your income tax return or prepare a set of accounts, so it makes sense to appoint an accountant who you can trust has the relevant skills and expertise. The team at Baldwins are licensed by the ICAEW to handle probate matters and can support you with all aspects of an estate when someone dies from first advice on who to contact, to collecting all the information, completing all the forms, obtaining probate and distributing the estate.
