Matthew Gard, Managing Director of Davisons will lead the region locally, continuing to build on the local expertise within the rural and business communities supported by specialisms nationwide within the Baldwins Group.
Baldwins is one of the UK’s leading accounting tax and advisory firms, with over 50 offices similar to Potter Baker. .

Andrew said: “Joining forces with Baldwins is a fantastic way to celebrate 70 years since Potter Baker was originally founded.
“As we reflect on the great reputation we have built up in the region over the years, it is also a time for us to consider what opportunities lie ahead in the future.
“Joining a larger accountancy firm with wider services and expertise creates more opportunities for our clients and the area’s local businesses to develop and grow themselves.
“Making the transition to reporting tax digitally is playing on a lot of clients’ minds at the minute, so accessing the resource and knowledge of Baldwins national specialist tax team will help them to stay ahead of the changes and have the best reporting software at their disposal.
“A lot of our agricultural clients are also keen to explore how they can diversify in a post-Brexit market, and by working with Baldwins dedicated tax team and their banking and finance team, we can open more doors to help our region’s businesses develop and navigate any obstacles.
“Baldwins is a forward-thinking organisation which we’re very excited to be a part of, and we look forward to working with them to developing Devon and Cornwall’s business community.”
