SECOND LINE SUPPORT TECHNICIAN – ALDRIDGE
As a Second Line Support Technician at our Aldridge Office you will act as a point of escalation for help desk tickets and provide assistance on project work. Working under the Service Desk Manager and IT Support Supervisor, you will be expected to diagnose and troubleshoot a wide range of issues and requests that require a higher level of knowledge, experience and responsibility. The help desk handles over 3000 tickets per month and expect this number to continue to increase due to an expanding customer base.

As a First Line Support Technician at our Aldridge Office, your main responsibilities will include:
- Providing 2nd line diagnosis, troubleshooting and resolution
- Supporting a range of both internal staff and external clients
- Assisting Infrastructure Team with project work
- Build strong client relationships
- Updating job notes and project work within the ticketing system
- Keeping knowledge base documentation and customer information up to date
- Assisting 1st Line Technicians
As a First Line Support Technician at our Aldridge Office your skills and qualifications will include:
- 12 months experience in a similar role
- Knowledge in the following areas/technologies
- Active Directory
- Microsoft Exchange
- Office 365
- DNS and DHCP
- Microsoft Windows 7 and 10, Windows Server 2012 and 2016
- Networking (TCP/IP)
- Cloud backup solutions
- Antivirus software
- Familiar with remote access tools, ticketing systems and monitoring software
