Booth Ainsworth’s business Services team provide compliance and advisory services to a range of entities.  The role of Senior will predominantly be maintaining the flow of work assigned and supporting the managers in delivering the service in a timely manner to meet strict deadlines.  Responsible for ensuring that existing relationships with clients are maintained to a high standard and assisting in the delivery of more complex assignments.

Purpose of the job

Perform quality and relevant work delivering accounting and advisory services to a range of clients and in doing so perform the following duties:

  • Preparing accounts for Limited companies, sole traders and partnerships from primary records or trial balances;
  • Preparing business tax computations, corporation tax computations and completing CT600 forms;
  • Reviewing VAT returns and management accounts by team members;
  • P11d preparation and submission;
  • Identifying clients and supporting the transition to cloud solutions;
  • Maintaining client engagement documentation and compliance in line with group policy;
  • Maintaining own technical knowledge and that of others in the team;
  • Adhere to relevant professional standards;
  • Manage your time to ensure timely completion of assignments and contribute to financial and other performance targets;
  • Build relationships with staff and clients to add to the credibility and reputation of Booth Ainsworth (Baldwins Group);
  • Work towards, managing a portfolio of clients on behalf of individual partners and liaising directly with them, including management of work in progress and billings
