Many of our partners and staff actively support local charities, often volunteering in an advisory capacity or helping with fundraising initiatives.

We understand that every business has an important role to play in preserving and protecting the environment. We are committed to pursuing our business activities with integrity, always behaving ethically, and ensuring we protect the environment and engage in positive ways with our local communities.

Our sustainability policy is designed to focus the efforts of all our partners and employees, whilst providing clear, achievable targets to work towards. We are committed to reviewing and improving our policies to reflect current thinking.

Where possible we promote reduced travel distances or duplication. We encourage car sharing on journeys from home to the office and when travelling to the same destination for client visits. We all prefer face to face meetings, but for potentially short meetings we actively encourage telephone conferencing rather than travel to meetings.

We actively reduce energy consumption by raising awareness amongst the entire firm of ways to preserve energy and limit our energy usage outside of office hours by switching off lights and equipment overnight. Wherever possible, we utilise energy efficient equipment and where we have influence over the maintenance or refurbishment of our offices we look to increase their energy efficiency.

We try to reduce our consumption of paper and promote recycling of waste, particularly paper and cardboard. We are currently reviewing the structure of our tax files, with a view to reducing paper before switching to paperless files across the firm in the longer term.

We constantly review our supply chain and pursue a policy of ethical purchasing where possible. Our business is built on engagement with the local communities we serve and wherever practical, we seek out local suppliers to help reduce transport costs, and to support the local business communities.

We try to immerse ourselves in and contribute to our local communities. We encourage all our staff to arrange fundraising events to support local charities and continue to sponsor local charities on an office by office basis, donating assistance and support.

We continue to promote diversity and equality, inline with our Equal Opportunities policy and continue to develop our business ethically and economically in a way that promotes stability and growth for the future.
